Players to watch : Lexi Missimo, Texas
If you have not watched a Texas game yet, you should make time to do so for their high-flying offense led by the incredible Missimo, who may be one of the most impressive passers in college soccer history. Fueled by a partnership with one of the nation's top scorers, and childhood friend and teammate, Trinity Byars, Missimo makes a habit of playing passes that no one else on the field sees. She leads the nation with 15 assists, eight more than anyone else. And oh, by the way, she has ten goals to go with that, good for second in the country. A generational attacking talent has made easy work of the early collegiate season.
Longtime teammates

Along the way, the talented players faced similar questions, including whether to turn professional straight out of high school or to continue developing through college soccer. They each chose to play at the University of Texas, where they are each now sophomores, but the lure of the professional game was there at the time and remains.
